Students learnt the definition of above mentioned 5 Ws and applied their knowledge to write a story in class. The 5 Ws: In investigative writing and research, the five Ws are used to gather information about a story or subject matter. In fact, most writers don't consider a story to be complete unless all five of the Ws have been addressed. The five Ws are who, what, when, where, and why. These questions words allow students, writers, and researchers to understand the full scope of the topic being discussed and enable critical thinking. Many of these words can be used in interrogation to tease out the information. Students also did a role play ‘The Good Night Princess’ written by D. M. Larson in a Class Activity. Through this performance, students understood stage management, how to use props, how to arrange cast and how to double cast and coordinate, etc. Role Play- When it comes to theatre, role playing is a fundamental skill that allows actors to be successful in their roles. Role play allows an actor to step into the shoes of a character. This may sound easy, but it isn't necessarily a natural process. It's a skill that requires a lot of practice before an actor can do it comfortably and well. VISUAL ARTS: The students learnt: Week 1: 2 point perspective- street composition Students learnt that in this type of perspective two sets of parallel lines move away from you. Every set of parallel lines has its own vanishing point. Two-point as the name implies uses two points. Drawing the perspective using step by step instructions with the help of wireframe technique.
